Smart or brainwashed? Look – I certainly agree with the message and the importance of avoiding gender stereotyping with our kids. No doubt about it. At the same time, however, I feel uneasy when seeing a little kid standing I’m front of a bunch of pink toys and being filmed by a parent while verbalizing the ideas. It makes me question how much the adorable child actually understands what she is saying versus repeating what she probably constantly hears from her parents.
