All of the “Sesame Street” sexy costumes for women ((Bert, Ernie, Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch) are male characters, because all of the best known characters on Sesame Street — a PBS show created to educate children— are male. I guess I should be grateful no one’s heard of Abby Cadabby. Or Elmo’s fish, Dorothy.

Regardless of how you feel about them, if you’re at a Halloween bar party and a girl shows up wearing one because it’s her favorite character you need to tell a bouncer because there is NO WAY she’s legal.

You know, personally I think the only reason they make such terrible costumes is because they want people to top being uncreative consumerist sheep and make their own costumes rather than buying a dumb store-bought one. It’s much more fun anyway.

This is wrong in so many ways š Did someone seriously say ‘We don’t have enough sexy costumes for women but we’ve already used nurse and police officer so we are completely out of ideas. Let’s do male puppets from children’s TV shows’?? I’m pretty sure we have more than enough ‘sexy costumes’ for women! When was the last time you saw a ‘sexy’ costume for men?
I don’t find these ‘costumes’ to be ‘sexy’ at all. I can’t imagine any women would want to wear these for anything but a huge joke. And it’s going to take a VERY kinky man to be attracted to this!
I am very turned off right now. Now I don’t want to have sex ever. Thanks a lot, crappy costumes!
