I have found that Robin McKinley’s books have fabulous strong female characters. I love ALL her books! She is an excellent storyteller.

So many great books! I :heart: Anne of Green Gables. I also loved Caddie Woodlawn when I was a girl. I should re-read it now.

I don’t know if you’ve read the book “Quest for a Maid” but it’s phenomenal. The main character is a smart and courageous young teenage girl. I would love to read your thoughts on the book, mostly because I can’t say enough good things about the book.
